You might think I’m making this up, recalling at random some selected situations just to prove a point. But I’m not.

At this moment, the feelings I’m expressing here are authentic, spontaneous, and of course, logical. That’s because all the unannounced pieces quickly fell into place. I wish they would do that more often — just sneak up on my blindside and surprise me.

The Magic Of Winter Light

There was no refusing my friend’s invitation. 

He and his wife were about to take their brand new to them 38-foot motor yacht from their home on the Tennessee River in northwest Alabama to a boat repair facility in St. Petersburg, Florida, a run of about seven hundred miles.
